Briquettes
MOUNTAIN TIMBER WOOD PRODUCTS, LLC.
Mountain Iron, Minnesota

Mountain Timber Wood Products will
also manufacture wood briquettes.
Think of them as wood pellets but in a
larger size for larger burner
applications, usually found in
commercial and industrial applications.
Briquettes are pressed from untreated
shavings and can be used in all types
of combustion burners that use coal or
other briquette forms of fuel are used.
The briquettes burn well in open
fireplaces as well as outdoor burners.
In relation to their volume, briquettes
have a high energy value and allow
efficient heating.
We offer wood briquettes that are
made of untreated shavings and
sawdust – free of any foreign material.
Under high pressure the shavings are
compressed without additives until they
are compact briquettes.
The moisture content is less then 10%.
Briquettes are a renewable resource.
Briquette heating systems do not
contribute to ozone levels.
The U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) has endorsed wood
pellet heat as one of the cleanest-
burning, most renewable energy
sources on Earth.
