enough pellets to cover the bottom of the
litter box and since it is wood it smells good
and can go right into the garden. The cats

for cat litter. The only objection I could find
was using newspaper that used phenols in
the ink were causing liver related deaths.
Soy based ink may not present the problem.
That said I love the wood pellets and will
keep using them. Wood based products are
excellent for compost. A fungal dominated
compost should have about 40% browns
such as newspaper, wood chips, sawdust,
lawn thatch or any other high fiber brown
material."
