Sawdust-Shavings
MOUNTAIN TIMBER WOOD PRODUCTS, LLC.
Mountain Iron, Minnesota
In modern saw mills the edges of the
conifer logs are directly chopped into
chips.
With their cutting technique, they turn
out large amounts of it. Up to 35% of
sawn round timber ends can end up as
wood chips/shavings. Some of our
forest-wood is chopped into chips in
large rotor-choppers.
Chips and sawdust from saw mills as
well as chips/sawdust from forest
wood can be used for large heating
systems and is very popular for animal
bedding.
Wood chips are offered with bark,
without bark and in different grades of
size and humidity.
